First Craven Sanitary District wants to remind our customers that water bills are due by September 15th.
Please note that if you have an outstanding balance, water service is subject to be disconnected after this day. Water cut-offs' this month are scheduled to occur on or after September 17th.
When paying by card on First Craven's dedicated phone service or online bill payment, please pay by the 15th at 5 p.m. to avoid disconnection. It is recommended to pay in person after the 15th if you owe an outstanding balance. We will be notified the following business day of any electronic payments.
If your water service is disconnected for non-payment, the full amount of the bill plus a $35 reconnect fee will be required to reinstate the service. Payments should be made at our office, not online or by phone, for same day reconnection.
